The Luneng Grasse Town S2 Villa, located in Beijing, is a unique project that stands out for its expansive European architecture single-family residential community. It is nestled within 3,400 acres of land, 70% of which is covered with trees and bushes, creating a lush, European style garden. The development also features a 30,000 square meters area for shops and markets, a 200-acre farm land for residents, and a 600-acre sports park and hotel.
The villa's design draws inspiration from the French town of Glasgow, known for its serene valleys, meandering country roads, and a calm flowing stream called Saipa. The design team meticulously preserved the classic style of the most prosperous period of French art in the villa's furnishings. The furniture, with its beautiful curvature, showcases the shape of natural curves, and some pieces are of the mahogany Chippendale style, reflecting the period of French's use of Chinese culture.
The villa spans 543 square meters, with the first and second floors standing at 3.6 meters in height, and the garden floor (basement) at 3.9 meters. The living room area is a spacious 62 square meters, while the dining and entertaining areas, including the bar, kitchen, dining room, and theater, span 89 square meters. The master area, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet, and den, covers 122 square meters.
The villa's design was realized over a period of 10 months, beginning in December 2015 and completed in October 2016. The design team faced challenges in maintaining the integrity of the living room's high design, which was too long and lacked aesthetic appeal. They recommended a floor slab in the living room above the floor, semi-styling, to add a study space on the second floor. The living room space height was increased by 45 cm, and an angle was made to the floor slab in design to maintain the integrity of the window.
The Luneng Grasse Town S2 Villa was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2017. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The villa, with its elegant interiors and inviting living environment, truly embodies a sense of luxury and speaks to the discerning buyers of this exclusive development.
